Welcome to Sustainable Cupar

Sustainable Cupar is a charity set up in 2009 with the aim of making Cupar a thriving and
environmentally-friendly town. We aim to:

  • Keep abreast of local environmental, and sustainability issues which affect the
    present and future of Cupar residents;
  • Communicate with the local community about these issues to try to bring
    about beneficial changes;
  • Pass on practical skills like growing food, planting trees, recycling, etc.
  • Bring like-minded people together in a range of activities and social events.
  • Work closely with other local organisations to bring about positive action
    locally.

Sustainable Cupar is currently made up of four sub groups, and you can get involved in any
or all of these: no prior experience is needed. We are keen to hear your ideas for new or
existing groups and what climate action you’d like to explore.
