Tree Planting event
Nine Scouts with leaders and parents spent time working towards their environmental badges on Sunday. They joined 5 Sustainable Cupar members and friends in planting baby trees from Woodland Trust on the top section of Moor Road.
Despite wind, hail and rain, 50 whips were put in, to provide habitat and food for wildlife. Two roe deer were spotted in a nearby field.
The Scouts are hopeful that the tree guards and canes provided by Fife Coast and Countryside Trust will keep them, and other hungry animals, away long enough to allow the trees to grow.
